Victorian 10k gold and moonstone ring

An incredible 10k gold Victorian ring with a moonstone orb in a high prong, claw-like setting. The metal tests as 10 karat gold and the ring features lovely notching on the shoulders of the band. Moonstone was often considered a symbol of intuition and mysticism in Victorian times and this antique moonstone ring is a perfect example of the time period.

CONDITION

In very good antique condition. Overall, the ring can use a cleaning, but it's in really good shape. Some light surface wear on the stone. This moonstone doesn't have a ton of blue flash to it, it's more clear and looks like a crystal ball.
