Victorian Whitby jet mourning locket with photo portrait and 14k bail

A stunning Victorian Whitby jet mourning locket with gold accents and seed pearls. This beautiful and large locket features a 14k gold bale and a man's photo inside. This Victorian jet locket is accented by a lily of the valley design with seed pearls. I was unable to test the gold portion on the front, so I am unsure of the material, but these lockets were often accented by gold. Inside is a double portrait of a man preserved behind glass. CONDITION

This Victorian mourning locket is in fair antique condition. While the overall locket front is intact and the photo and interior components are well preserved, there are some chips to the edge of the locket and one larger chip near the hinge in the back.
